Mark has worked in financial services since 1998. Before that, he graduated from Southampton University and followed his ambition of playing professional rugby.

Today, Mark enjoys working with his private clients, providing creative investment solutions to meet a variety of individual needs. He specialises in helping clients meet their income requirements in retirement and providing bespoke retirement planning.

Outside of work, Mark is a passionate sportsman, enjoying cricket and rugby. He is married to Katie and has two children.

Originally from Manchester, Alex eventually arrived in Norfolk after periods in Peru, Tanzania and Edinburgh. Although he graduated with a first-class degree in fine art, he had a longstanding interest in the markets, and subsequently took the natural step of training as an investment adviser.

Alex values spending time with his clients, understanding their individual needs and helping them develop a tailored long-term investment plan.

Alex has two young daughters, Lily and Lola. Outside work he enjoys reading, sport, piano and DIY – although he finds he has less and less time for any of them!

Deborah
Bourassa

Deborah’s earlier career in fashion took her all over the world. She started out in financial services in Canada in 2000 advising clients on education savings plans.

Returning to the UK in 2005, Deborah retrained as a stockbroker and financial planner. She loves advising clients on their long-term financial needs, and is passionate about the need for professional retirement planning. Above all, she loves the personal contact with her clients, and is committed to delivering the highest level of service.

Outside work Deborah loves to spend time with her three daughters, family and friends, and enjoying life in the Norfolk countryside.

Rafael
Bravo-French

Rafael spent his early years in Barcelona, where he still has family and friends. He has been in financial services since 2006 and is qualified as both a financial planner and stockbroker.

Rafa focuses primarily on his retirement planning, creating strategies to help his clients and other local professionals meet their individual goals. He’s also passionate about first-class service.

When not at work, Rafa’s interests are travel, sport and eating out with friends.

Jonathan
Briggs

Before working in financial services, Jonathan spent ten years running the family business, The Dinosaur Adventure Park and Weston Park Golf Club. Following the sale of the business, he moved into professional services with some of the biggest local names in law and accountancy.

Jonathan loves providing trusted financial advice for retirement, pensions, investments and planning for later life, including long-term care and inheritance.

Now that Jonathan’s children are at University, he spends his spare time with his wife Hannah on long walks or cycling in search of cake stops.

Simon graduated from Staffordshire University with a top honours degree in Business Studies, including modules on Enterprise, Innovation and Communication.

Today, Simon enjoys working with clients to achieve their personal financial objectives, and gets great satisfaction from providing a personal service.

In his spare time, Simon enjoys family life in Thorpe St Andrew and taking his two sons, Joshua and Benjamin, to watch Norwich City.

Jilly Cant

Client Experience Manager

Jilly previously worked with Simon Loveday in Acle, before joining Loveday & Partners in 2010.

As our Client Experience Manager, Jilly is our first point of contact for clients and business partners alike. She is responsible for our day to day office management, the front-of-house team and client events.

Jilly is a keen Park Runner and regular swimmer and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Angie Spouncer

Client Care & Operations
Angie is part of our operations team responsible for front of house and operational duties. She has exceptional customer service skills and enjoys welcoming clients and visitors alike. Angie is studying to be a Yoga instructor, enjoys surfing and bodyboarding, and enjoys spending time with her family.

Jake Roode

Operations Assistant
Jake joined Loveday & Partners having worked in retail running a busy city centre shop.  He enjoys being part of the Operational team welcoming clients to the office and ensuring our busy office functions efficiently.   Outside of work Jake enjoys being active and spending time with his family and corgi Buddy.

Lee Charles

Compliance Manager
Lee joins Loveday & Partners as our Compliance Manager having worked in financial services for many years.  He enjoys spending time with his family and long weekend walks with his dog Winston.

Bob Walne

Associate and Chartered Financial Planner

Bob has worked in insurance, banking and most recently as a financial adviser. He joined Loveday & Partners in February 2014. In 2019, he achieved Chartered Financial Planner status and was named a Fellow of The Personal Finance Society.

Bob enjoys meeting clients and helping them achieve their objectives, with a particular focus on retirement planning.

Outside of work, he enjoys playing and watching sport and following the fortunes of Norwich City. He has two children, Chris and Lily.

Adam Claydon

Associate and Chartered Financial Planner
Adam joined Loveday & Partners in 2016, having spent several years training as an adviser at another local firm. In 2018, Adam became a Chartered Financial Planner and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, the highest levels of qualification achievable to Planners. Adam takes a holistic approach to planning and provides individualised strategies that evolve alongside the needs and lifestyles of his clients. His clients include individuals at all stages of life, businesses, and trusts. Adam has worked passionately to help construct and promote our Investing for Good offering. Having competed internationally in Judo during his youth, Adam now spends much of his spare time following and playing football and hopes to one day own a sandwich shop.

Robyn Donnelly

Chartered Financial Planner

Following her degree in mathematics, accounting and financial management at Loughborough University, Robyn began a career in financial planning. She has completed the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and has achieved Chartered Status.

Robyn enjoys working with clients to create long-term plans that will attain their personal and financial goals.

Outside work Robyn has an interest in fine art and enjoys playing netball and many other sports.

Tom Fiske

Chartered Financial Planner
Tom grew up in Norfolk and graduated from Loughborough University with a degree in Economics in 2014. Following this, he spent some time working as a ski guide in the Austrian Alps. Having an economics background, he made the natural step into Financial Planning and has since achieved the accolade of becoming a Chartered Financial Planner and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. He enjoys building tailored plans to help achieve his clients financial and life goals, whatever they may be. Out of work his time is spent playing and watching sports as well as planning his next ski trip!

Lisa Snary

Financial Planner

Lisa began her career as a chartered accountant. After 20 years supporting a wide range of businesses, she retrained as a financial planner.

Lisa brings with her a wealth of experience, and enjoys developing a close relationship with her clients, based upon trust and a detailed understanding of their individual goals and ambitions.

Lisa is married to Iain and has two sons, Monty and Freddie, who are growing up far too quickly. Outside work, Lisa is involved in local rugby and enjoys entertaining and the great outdoors.

Jack Piper

Financial Planner

Jack graduated from London’s Ravensbourne University with a degree in Media Production, after which he spent four years travelling the world as a sport TV producer. In 2015 Jack decided to pursue his interest in investments and financial planning, and has since achieved the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.

Jack enjoys meeting new people, building strong relationships with clients and helping them meet their financial goals.

Out of work he enjoys both playing and watching football, as well as keeping fit.

Adam Baker

Financial Planner

Adam has worked in Financial Services since leaving school, working in technical departments for local investment houses and independent financial advisers before joining Loveday & Partners in July 2017.

Qualified to Diploma level, Adam's next goal is to achieve Chartered Financial Planner status.

In his spare time, he enjoys watching and playing football and is a lifetime Norwich City supporter and season ticket holder.

Robyn O’Brien

Financial Planner

Robyn has worked in the financial services industry for 11 years and has achieved the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.

In her spare time she enjoys completing Tough Mudder events and spending time with friends and family.

Ben Birleson

Financial Planner
Ben joined Loveday & Partners in September 2018 following a bout of travelling throughout South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Having obtained his Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, he is now studying towards his Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning. Outside of work, Ben enjoy travelling, football and spending time with friends.

Florence Bourassa

Financial Planner
Florence graduated from Exeter University in 2017 having studied international relations. Prior to joining Loveday and Partners she worked in London for a Financial Technology start up company since its launch, learning all about the payments industry and business. In her spare time Florence loves taking country walks, cooking, baking, and travelling.

David Knight

Senior Paraplanner
David first joined Loveday & Partners in 2015 and works as a Senior Paraplanner. He gained his Diploma in 2017 and, after several more exams, achieved Chartered status in 2023.   Outside of work David enjoys spending time with his family and is never happier than when dining out! Luckily David is also a keen runner and completed his first Ultra Marathon in October 2023.

Helen Emmerson

Helen joined Loveday & Partners in July 2016 from a background in financial services.

She has recently achieved her Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, and in her spare time enjoys watching and playing football, as well as spending time with her family and friends

Michael Jones

Paraplanner

Michael graduated in politics in 2014, and has worked in financial services ever since. He gained his Diploma in 2018 and joined Loveday & Partners the following year.

Outside work, Michael is a fanatical supporter of Leeds United, travelling to their games whenever he can.

Dan joined Loveday & Partners in April 2020 having worked in the industry since 2016. He holds the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and is currently studying for the Advanced Diploma. Outside of work, Dan enjoys keeping fit and spending time with family and friends.

Sadie Van Den Burg

Paraplanner

Sadie has enjoyed working in financial services since 2009 and is diploma qualified after four years of intensive studying.  Working as a paraplanner within Alex's team, Sadie is looking forward to expanding her knowledge further.

In her spare time Sadie enjoys being with her family, keeping active, running, eating out and cooking.

Jon Younie

Jon has worked in Financial Services for close to 6 years before joining Loveday & Partners, having achieved his Diploma in Regulated Financial Advice in 2020. He is currently working towards gaining his Advanced Diploma and becoming a Financial Planner. Outside of work Jon loves all things Rugby, playing for North Walsham and being an avid Northampton Saints and Scotland supporter. His Saturdays are for Rugby and his Sundays are for cooking.

Josh Cullington

Josh graduated with a degree in History from the University of Essex. After developing an interest in the financial markets, he started his career in the financial services with an Authorised Fund Manager in London before joining Loveday & Partners in April 2021. Josh achieved his Diploma in Regulated Financial Advice in 2023 and will begin to study for the Advanced Diploma.   Josh enjoys watching football, cricket and spending time with friends and family.  

Lauren MacArtney

Paraplanner
Lauren has worked in financial services, mainly the lending sector, for six years prior to joining Loveday & Partners. Lauren very much enjoys spending time with her friends, going to concerts, eating out and riding her bike.

Jonno English

Jonno joined Loveday & Partners in May 2023.  After graduating from UEA with a degree in music he joined a local insurer and now has 10 years' experience in financial services. He is studying for the Advance Diploma, after achieving the Diploma in Regulated Financial Advice. Outside of work he enjoys playing rugby with Iceni RFC, hiking and practicing his Dutch.

Daniel Lees

Daniel joined Loveday & Partners in July 2023, having worked in the industry since 2021. Daniel is currently studying for his diploma, with the goal of becoming a financial planner. Outside of work, Daniel is a huge Fantasy Football player ranking in the top 0.01% of players worldwide. He also enjoys travelling and eating out with family and friends.

Clemmie has been a much loved part of the Loveday family since she first started coming to work at 16 weeks old nearly five years ago.

She settled into the rhythm of the working day quickly and is now very much part of the furniture for our staff and our clients alike.

She loves being part of the team and all the attention of course, plus a treat or two!

Jess Watkins

Jess joined Loveday & Partners in April 2014, after having a long career in the banking industry. She is studying towards her diploma in regulated financial planning.

Jess prides herself on being a happy, helpful person with a passion for great service.

In her spare time, Jess enjoys the theatre, cinema, gym, shopping and eating out.

Abi joined Loveday and Partners in November 2015, coming from a background in financial services. She is currently studying towards her Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.

Claire Bardsley

Originally from Manchester, Claire worked in the insurance industry for 10 years before relocating to Norfolk in 2012.

She enjoys long walks with her dog, Teddy, visiting family and spending time with her fiancé and young daughters Maisie and Erin.

Jake Anema

Senior Financial Planning Assistant
Jake gained a diploma in Sports Science in 2009 however with a keen interest in stocks and shares, he made the move to financial services. His goal is to become a financial planner and he is currently studying for his diploma. Outside of work, Jake is a keen sportsman and plays football, cricket, and golf. His ultra-competitive attitude helped us gain the 2022 business games earlier in the year!

Flynn Drinkell

Flynn joined Loveday & Partners in August 2022, after graduating from the University of Nottingham with a degree in Business Management. With a strong interest in financial markets and investments, he made the step into the financial services industry. He is currently studying for his diploma, with the goal of becoming a financial planner. Outside of work, Flynn enjoys playing cricket, golf and spending time with family and friends.

Sue Woodford

Sue has a wealth of experience in financial services, gained at advisory firms in London and Norwich. She originally joined Loveday & Partners in December 2010. Outside work she enjoys family life with her husband and young sons.

Jade has been working in the Financial Service industry since 2018, and in January 2023 has joined Simon’s team at Loveday & Partners, to continue her development in the industry. In her spare time she likes to explore new countries and spend time with her friends and family.

Tom Younie

Having graduated from the University of East Anglia with a degree in Sports Science and Coaching in 2022, Tom decided to dip his toe into Financial Services within the Staff Pension Department at Aviva. Following this, he decided to continue his Career in the Finance sector, moving into Financial Planning with Loveday and Partners in July 2023. He is currently working towards his diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. In his spare time Tom plays rugby for North Walsham Rugby club and is a keen Scotland Rugby Fan.    

Elle Nichols

Elle has been working in the Financial Service industry since 2020, and in July 2023 has joined Alex’s team at Loveday & Partners, to continue her development in the industry. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with family and friends and loves to go on holiday abroad.

Jennie joined Loveday & Partners in June 2023 having worked in the industry for several years. Outside of work Jennie enjoys watching stand-up comedy, upcycling furniture and spending time with family and friends.

Doris is our office dog in training!  She is only a year old and is Clemmie's little sister although Doris is now bigger!

Megan Boyce

Megan has been working in financial services since 2021 and in February 2024 joined Simon’s team at Loveday & Partners to continue her development in the industry. Megan is currently studying towards her diploma in regulated financial planning and in her spare time, Megan enjoys spending time with friends and family.  

Chloe Southernwood

Financial Planning Assistant
Chloe began her career in the hospitality sector working her way up to a managerial role. Chloe then decided on a career change and was keen to implement her customer service skills within the finance industry. After several years building knowledge and experience, Chloe joined us in July 2024 and now works alongside Jonathan, looking after clients and managing the diary. Outside of work, Chloe enjoys her weekly dance classes and spending time with family and friends on weekends.

Harrison Death

'Harrison joined Loveday & Partners in November 2023. He is currently studying for his Diploma with a goal to become a financial planner. Outside of work Harrison enjoys going to the gym and testing himself by participating in events such as triathlons and marathons. Harrison also appreciates spending time with his friends and travelling abroad experiencing new cultures.

Josh Saxby

Josh joined Loveday & Partners in October 2023, having studied finance at A-Level. Josh is currently studying for his diploma, with the goal of becoming a Financial Planner. Outside of work, Josh enjoys both playing and watching football and is a keen Chelsea fan. He also likes going on holiday and eating out with family and friends.

Wesley was named after the equally agile, fleet of foot, Norwich City legend Wesley Hoolahan.

Unlike his namesake though, Wesley isn’t much of a ball player, preferring to chase rabbits across fields, or squirrels up trees!
